The global average oil and gas recovery factor is less than 30%. Most hydrocarbon reservoirs are heterogeneous, making it costly to increase production. To address this, we have developed a series of advanced digital AI tools that quantify the spatial structure of reservoirs and predict complex fluid thermodynamics. These tools leverage new physics and enhanced computing power to analyze spatial heterogeneity from the pore scale to the reservoir scale.
